Franktown Fire Protection District proudly provides service to 155 square miles in unincorporated southeast Douglas County and has been doing so since 1963. Franktown Fire is governed by a five member board of directors and is a combination department consisting of both career and volunteer professionals. Franktown Fire operates four stations that provide emergency services in fire suppression and emergency medical service including hospital transport. Franktown Fire also assists other county agencies with technical rescue, and hazardous materials response.

The Franktown Fire Protection District is committed to providing the highest level of professional service to the citizens of the District and the area. Our members constantly strive to improve and maintain their skills in preparation for response to emergency incidents.

Franktown Fire believes in strong cooperative efforts with all of the neighboring fire, law enforcement, and public service agencies. The department actively participates in regional efforts to provide the best service possible to all citizens.

The Franktown Fire Protection District strives to be a member of the community through active participation in local events and community efforts.
